It started as all modern love stories do, with a match on Hinge on October 26th, 2024. When Jenn first saw Jordan's profile, she loved the fact that he was family-oriented, driven, and successful, (plus those bright blue eyes didn’t hurt!)

For Jordan, he said he felt an instant connection and something about her seemed “meant to be.” He could feel her heart of gold through the phone. It only took a few messages before the two realized this could be something special, and on November 1st, less than one week after they matched, they went on their first date.

It was on this date that they discovered how much they had in common. Most importantly, they quickly realized they had the same values- a deep love for friends and family, and a desire to care for those around them. They say when you know you know, and it was the third date when they both knew.

Jordan knew Jenn was "the one" when she “jokingly” invited him last minute to her brother's wedding in the Dominican Republic. Even though he knew he wouldn't be able to go, it was clear early on that Jenn's family could become his own one day.

The moment that solidified everything for Jenn was the fact that Jordan made his intentions clear on the third date. She had finally found someone who was looking for true love, and wasn't afraid to say so. If that date didn't make it clear to them, spending two weeks apart between the Thanksgiving holiday certainly did. They realized they never wanted to be apart again. Plus, once Jordan made Jenn his famous chicken parm on their fourth date, she knew she couldn't go without it!

The rest of the year was filled with trips to Florida, exploring new places around the city, family gatherings, moving in together, and Jenn overcoming her allergies for their dog Ellie.

It was on a walk with Ellie, that Jordan found the perfect proposal spot in Carl Shurz Park. He knew this would be the place where they could start the next chapter of their lives together. So it was then, November 23rd, on a crisp fall Sunday afternoon that Jordan brought the love of his life to this special spot, in the city they fell in love where Jordan asked Jenn to marry him!
